The company owns ten mountain resorts, including Whistler/Blackcomb, North America's most popular mountain resort. Intrawest also owns Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Florida and has a premier Vacation Condos ownership business, Club Intrawest.
The one-, two- and three-bedroom vacation condos have living spaces
ranging from 558 to 1,319 square feet. Each unit is professionally
decorated and fully equipped with a dishwasher, fireplace, outdoor deck
and floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto spectacular views of
the mountain and the village.
"In the farming business you are always thinking about your investment", says Maurice Julien while he looks at the ski trails from his front window and the warming green of Le Géant from his back window. He ought to know, Maurice is only a part time resident of Tremblant vacation condos. When not skiing, golfing or just contemplating the two from the comfort of his living room, he is running an extensive farming operation in Valleyfield, in Québec's Montérégie region.
"We work a few thousand acres growing feed corn and soya beans on a
farm that has been in our family for generations. My brother Michel and I have worked together since 1971 each taking certain responsibilities on the farm. In the peak planting and harvesting seasons I am there all the time, and the rest of the year I try to spend as much time here, at Tremblant vacation condos, as possible.
